But it was years before that the roots of the journey began to grow. As a little boy, Kevin thought like an entrepreneur. He would talk with his friends in the basement about ways to make fun video games and sell lemonade. Throughout high school and while studying Business Management in college, he experimented with ways to have fun and make an impact, everything from making 3D computer designs for real estate projects to running a financial advising practice. Some of his ideas never went anywhere and those that did, failed. Yet, with each failure, he took it as feedback to learn more about himself, how he worked, and what he was most passionate about.

During those same formative years, Devan grew up developing a passion for enjoying life and helping others. She spent summers investing in and mentoring children at camp and nannying for family friends. After facing some health challenges, she found what she was truly passionate about: health & fitness. She began working to help people make a change in their health as she trained at local gyms, large chain gyms, and other fitness and health facilities. While in college, she was studying health and fitness but found herself not quite feeling like a fitness professional. With the help of some loving friends and some troubleshooting with her own nutrition, she gained traction and continued to pursue her own health while helping others do the same.
